TIMING BELT DECIDED TO GIVE UP RIGHT BEFORE WE WERE ABOUT TO REPLACE IT TOO. THE ENGINE CYLINDERS & VALVES COULD BE OK CONDITION NEEDS TO BE CHECKED FOR COMPRESSION WITH A NEW BELT AND TENSIONER. YOU MIGHT BE LUCKY THAT VALVE DAMAGE MIGHT NOT HAVE BADLY HAPPENED. SO THIS IS A GREAT PROJECT CAR IF YOU ALREADY HAVE THE TOOLS OR WILLING TO USE THIS CAR FOR ITS NEW PARTS OR EVEN GET IT FIXED TO KEEP DRIVING IT.
