I bought this 2001 Jeep Wrangler Sport from a new car toyota dealership where it was traded in on a brand new truck . I drove it around for around 300 miles or so. This wrangler has the 4.0 inline 6 cyl. It runs and drives strong. The 5 spd shifts all of the gears like it should. The 4x4 works great and it handles down the road very nice and true. This jeep has AC that is working. The radio I could not get to work. The oil pressure gauge held around 40 psi the entire time I ran it . I heard, best I could tell, a light lifter tick when it was cold, seem to go away after it warmed up. The engine ran great and I did not see any smoke etc. Strong running jeep. This Jeep has the hard top. The miles are 135k . back in 2013, a previous owner looks to have accidentally record it as Not actual miles, on the report the miles go up correctly so probably a case of filling in the wrong box when it was registered. I believe them to be actual. I am selling miles exempt due to it being ten years or older. The interior looks clean and the body looks really good for almost 20 years old. The frame is very solid and original with only normal surface road wear, Watch the video and pics as I spent a lot of time showing it. Looks good. The tires are serviceable but not brand new. Nothing I would replace yet in my opinion. There are no engine lights on the dash etc. This wrangler has a clean title . I do not want to over call it or undercall it, let the video and pics tell the story and call me with any questions 563 568 1186. Should make someone a nice entry level affordable wrangler.
I require a 250 dollar non refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction end. if i do not get the deposit before you come for the car or within the time frame, i will assume you are a dreamer or a scammer and not serious about buying it .
