In the early 2000"s a company called Landrunner Conversion Company (located in Huntington Beach California) started modifying Jeep Wranglers to become Jeep "Landrunners". This conversion involved a custom made hood that gave it something of a Hummer appearance, along with chunky flared fenders. It also added approximately 58 pounds to the wrangler along with nearly 10" inches in expanded width! The wider expanded fenders ensure that mud doesn"t get kicked up in your face when your off roading, they are also strong enough for people to ride on. The Landrunner edition can also support larger off road tires in comparison to the standard wrangler.
