2001 Hummer H1 (not Humvee) 112,000 miles 6.5 Turbo Diesel Leather interior Power windows and locks Cold A/C Everything works as far as I know. This truck is hardly ever driven so I am selling it.
There are a few things I know that it will need: Left rear halfshaft Needs a set of brakesr There are a couple of hub seals leaking It could use a new serpentine belt soon The CTIS system is disconnected because the air lines leak and need to be replaced. The soft top is not in great condition. I installed a new rear window curtain piece a couple months ago, but the top itself will need to be repaired or replaced. The drivers seat has some splits in the leather. The other seats look pretty good. The undercarriage protection has been removed for easier servicing. I have all the pieces and will include them with the truck There is a small oil leak from the oil filter adapter area. I believe this is a simple seal replacement I have just not had time to address it The clear coat is peeling on the hood and the hood has a couple cracks in the fiberglass There is a rock chip on each windshield
The Good News: Engine is strong. Uses no oil or coolant at all. Does not overheat and starts easily. Transmission shifts perfectly. Tcase is quiet and leak-free. Shifts as it should. The front driveshaft center bearing was replaced 500 miles ago with new u joints also. The tires are brand new (less than 500 miles ago) BlueHummer locking spindle nuts are installed Centramatic balancers Original Monsoon sound system with factory subwoofer Relocated PMD with aluminum cooler Minimal rust, just surface rust in a few places. The frame is solid. The truck came from New Mexico to Arkansas and has not been driven in areas with road salt.
I have several boxes of spare parts and pieces for the truck that will go with it. I also have a full set of detailed service and repair manuals that will go with the truck (very expensive and almost impossible to find anymore).
This is my 4th Hummer H1. I know these trucks well and have lots of experience owning them. This truck is 95% original, which is getting to be rare with people modifying the H1"s these days. The truck runs and drives normally and the steering is tight. It drives like a Hummer if you know what I mean (slow, noisy, uncomfortable, etc). It needs a few things to bring it up to par, which is why I am selling it for less than I know it"s worth. I don"t have time to do the maintenance it needs and I don"t drive it enough to justify keeping it.
