Vehicle description
This is a 2001 M1123 not a M998 that means it has the 6.5 liter diesel engine with the 4 speed tranny. The M998 is usually a 6.2 with a 3 speed tranny. The 4 speed lets you do a top speed of around 75 mph were the 3 speed is only 50mph.
I have just had the truck redone and the engine was fully gone through by a diesel mechanic. I know the glow plugs were changed, the fuel lines were changed, an electronic fuel pump was also added.
The truck also had some new things added. Rino Lined the exterior Serious Grey (a sherwin williams color) Rino Lined the inside black Trailer Hitch was added along with the wiring for trailer lights Hard Top Hard Doors Hard Back with Window and fold down hatch. ( The hatch is great for sticking really long things like wood in the truck as it will go all the way to the front.) New racing seats 22" Rims with 37" tires only about 500 miles on them if that The truck is registered in Vermont and is super easy to register there even if you are out of state i live in CT and you just mail a form in and a couple weeks later your plates show up. Vermont does not give a title for vehicles older then 15 years so you will have to check with your local DMV as to how to register if you want to do that. You can always register in Vermont first then transfer to your state. I can help if needed.
The truck is great but it is a military truck so there is no creature comforts it is noisy. Its not a Cadillac so don"t expect that.
