It has a robust service history Including a receipt for a complete engine rebuild less than 10,000 miles ago by Science of Speed in Chandler, AZ, one of the top Honda performance specialists in the country. The car drives perfectly, the engine feels strong and revs freely to 9000 RPM, stops quickly and handles Incredibly well.
This S2000 was tastefully modified by the previous owner and includes many performance, reliability and cosmetic upgrades; some of the most noteworthy upgrades are: Hasport billet engine mounts, a Mishimoto radiator, high flow fans, shroud and reservoir, a cold air intake system with a K&N filter, titanium engine bay hardware kit, aftermarket exhaust system and an uprated differential. The service history includes many dealership invoices for standard services as well as miscellaneous receipts for OE Honda parts.
Cosmetically the car presents well, but does show some signs of previous paint repairs on the passenger side front fender and front facia, as well as the usual parking lot door dings and scrapes you’d expect from a daily driver. The power top works as it should but unfortunately is starting to degrade from the Arizona sun and should be replaced in the near future as it is starting to show splitting of the fabric in multiple spots.
The interior is in good condition as a whole with no major blemishes on the dashboard, door panels, carpets or console. The AC blows ice cold and all of the interior switches and buttons function as they should. It is also extremely original with the exception of a Pioneer radio and an aftermarket shift knob. The driver’s seat has split from use and will need to be repaired or recovered; the passenger seat shows minor wear but is in good condition.
