Vehicle description
Original owner. This car was built in Japan and not the U.S. Maintained and repaired the car myself. Changed oil every 10k miles (recommend service interval from Honda) with synthetic oil with fuel system cleaner. Changed AT fluid every 100k miles with Honda ATF fluid. The transmission fluid is good for another 80k miles. Oil change is good for another 5k miles. Changed brake fluid, radiator fluid, and brakes recently.
Also I just replaced the headliner (brand new) and dashboard lights. I also just changed the timing belt, water pump, accessory belts (power steering, AC/alternator), tensioner spring, valve gaskets, and head gasket. These are brand new OEM parts, and costed me over $1500 in parts and labor. Finally, things I repaired replaced recently (in the past 50k miles):
1) fuel cap
2) upstream O2 sensor
3) radiator (3 years old)
4) battery (1 year old - have receipt)
5) coolant diaphram
6) master switch (1 year old)
7) window regulator
8) rear light bulb and assembly
9 front and rear brakes (1 year old)
10) throttle body and cleaned out IACV valve - better idle performance. 11) Cabin and air filter
Coolant flush when I replaced radiator 15k miles ago. Brake fluid flush and power steering flush too.
Car runs great. It comes with LoJack. AC runs cold and I have almost never used it. Heater runs hot. I have not driven this car fast or hard. It has no performance modifications. I just used it as a daily driver to go to work. You won"t find a cheaper, well maintained Honda Civic online. Why?
1) Transmission sometimes flares between 1st and 2nd gear when driven first thing in the morning, but all you have to do is depress the throttle for a second and then the clutch will catch and it will drive fine. It"s been doing this sporadically for the past 90k miles. It"s really no problem
2) Tires should be changed in the next 20k miles. Front tires has a lot of tread left. It"s Michelin Defenders. I rotated recently on my own without balancing the tires, so there is little vibration at highway speeds. You can either live with it, balance the tires, or just wait till you replace the tires.
3) There are scuffs and scratches on the bumpers. Some dents on the body with some rust. A small hole in the bumper too.
The registration is still current, but is ready to be renewed in a week. It drives really great, and hasn"t given me much problems. No accidents. SMOGs clean every time.
I will cancel bids from low quality Ebayers. I expect $1000 PayPal deposit upon winning.
