Vehicle description

About this vehicle This 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is used as a daily driver. Vehicle Details Vehicle Description I’ve owned this truck since 2009. I bought it with 92,000 miles on and am the third owner. Truck runs great as does the 4WD. Since I bought it I’ve replaced all the drivetrain fluids, shocks, starter, alternator, and entire parking brake components. I also installed a stainless brake line kit from Inline Tube. I’ve always used synthetic motor oil. I did purchase a complete fuel line kit from GM specifically for that truck, so it will be a direct fit. It was over $400 and yet to be installed. I also have a set of new front brake rotors and pads. I have no stains from fluids on the driveway where it is parked. It is a 20 year old truck an has always been a second vehicle for me. So it does have some issues. The A/C doesn’t work. It can be charged but only works for a couple days. Fuel gauge doesn’t work. I use the trip Odometer and fill up at 400 miles. The speeeometer is off because of the smaller than factory tire size. Got them off marketplace about a year ago. The deal was to good to pass up. The ABS light comes on and goes off. I believe it is the module. Brakes work fine but Antilock system won’t work when illuminated. The power steering cooler was leaking, so I just bypassed it. The rocker panels are rusted, passenger side worse than the drivers side. Surface rust on the chassis but overall solid, as are the floor boards. It has a lifer tap at start up that goes away in less than a minute. Drop in Bedliner and folding tonneau cover. It does have a clean carfax and when I bought it off in 2009, I was told it was never in an accident. But the passenger rear door has obviously been off the vehicle which is evident by the threaded rod and nuts mounting the body side of the hinge. But honestly the truck has been great for me. I have retired and finished most of my home projects and find no need for an extra vehicle. The pictures speak for themselves. A couple dings and dents. Rust here and there. Some wear and tear. But not bad for a 20 year old truck. Exterior Interior Engine Download the Motors app
