For sale is my 2001 Ford Mustang Bullitt in the iconic Dark Highland Green. This 2001 Bullitt has 4200 original miles. I bought this car in December of 2020 for my winter clean up project. It is titled in my name. The title is clear of any liens and shows the mileage as actual mileage. I have personally detailed the car to a very high level. The paint is swirl free, slick to the touch and looks stunning. The undercarriage has been wiped down with WD40. This car could be the nicest 01 Bullitt out there. This car is a turn key, show ready vehicle that will compete for Best of Show at any car show. The original wheels were replaced with reproduction 17x9 wheels with 275/40/17 BFG tires. The tires are new as well and have 2020 date codes. This wheel and tire combination looks awesome and fills out the wheel wells great. The aspect ratio of this size tire is the same overall size as the OEM size and thus the speedometer is dead on. The quad shocks are unaltered and still on the vehicle with no rubbing anywhere front or rear. The wheel and tire size I went with is the OEM size for the 03/04 Cobra. The OEM center caps fit the reproduction wheels perfectly. The original “Bullitt Wheels” with newer Goodyear Eagle tires are also included in the sale. The date code on the newer Eagles is 2018.
This is a turn key car. A recent oil change and new Motorcraft filter was completed in October 2020. Mobil 1 oil was used. A new Motorcraft Battery was installed 2 years ago. The batteries in the keyless remotes are new. The coolant was flushed 2 years ago. The air filter is a new Motorcraft filter. The brake fluid was just flushed in January. The transmission fluid was drained and filled with Penzoil Synchromesh at the appropriate level. .I believe 3.4 is what Tremec call for in a TSB. A new Motorcraft fuel filter was also just installed. This Bullitt has always been serviced by professional ASE certified mechanics and everything above is documented in receipts. The Bullitt retains its factory exhaust, shocks, struts, air induction, quad shocks, subframe connectors, battery cables, brakes, perfect shock tower sticker- along with the hidden matching sticker under the rear seat. The factory floor mats are perfect, like new and still with the car. Also included with the sale is a custom fitted California Car cover that has been with the car since new. The car has always been properly stored and covered since new.
