This is a great opportunity to own the ultimate highway cross country traveling machine - a 2001 Ford Excursion Limited with the best powertrain available - the 6.8L Triton V10 with the Electronic 4 speed Automatic Transmission with 3.73 Ration rear axle two wheel drive.
I ordered this Excursion brand new from my Ford dealer back in 2001. I am the ONLY owner. This Excursion was pampered from the beginning. The first oil change was to Mobil 1 synthetic oil with oil and filter changes every 4,000 miles thereafter. Maintenance was followed by the recommended services and I have all records and receipts from new.
This SUV / truck was ordered from the factory with rear air conditioning. It works perfectly and keeps this vast truck frigid cool even in the Texas heat.
Everything has been kept as original - even still has the optional rear entertainment package which consists of a built in factory VHS player. We have kept this vehicle stored inside over the years and it shows.
Note the original paint and interior. The carpet is perfect because I covered it with aftermarket floor mats from the day I bought it. This vehicle is literally untouched.
The driver"s seat does exhibit some cracking in the leather, but nothing that could not be easily repaired or recovered.
My wife and raised four kids in this thing and had a lot of good times in it. Had some bad times too, but not the fault of the truck!
How many times does a vehicle like this come up where you are dealing with the original owner who knows everything about the vehicle?
