Had this car 8 years, 172XXX miles. Main issue with this car is that the overdrive doesn"t work - it"s been this way for years and everything was fine, until recently - in the top gear, without overdrive the engine goes to 4000+ RPM so on the highway it overheats really quickly.I actually have a second used AODE transmission from a 2000 Crown Vic, and I confirmed with Ford that it"s an exact fit for my 2001. If interested, I can create a separate listing for this item. It is in my garage bolted to an engine pulled from the same 2000 Crown Vic and the buyer would need to come with the proper tools to pull it and take it away yourself.Car has a good number of newer parts - pretty new Michelin tires - those alone cost over $600 - new radio and speakers (which I might pull and replace with the originals) - all four wheel bearings were done a few years ago - fuel filler neck about a year ago - probably others I can"t think of right now.Clear/Clean title (not rebuilt, salvage, etc.), no lienholders.Car must be picked up from my residence in Glendale, AZ.Everything sold as-is, where-is with no warranty, refund, or guarantee.
