About this vehicle This 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 is an original. This is offered for sale by the original owner. The vehicle needs work. Seller"s Notes 6 speed manual 240 HO transmission Vehicle Details Exterior Needs paint. The clear coat started failing in 2012ish. If washed it looks great minus the clear coat. The front light lenses are yellowed. Interior need new dash and glove compartment need to be reinstalled. Mostly related from sitting in hot Las Vegas sun. Videos Exterior Clear coat stared to fail in 2012. Interior Interior upholstery is in great shape. The dash is gone and the glove compartment need to be fixed or reinstalled. This is only from sun. Truck hasn’t been running since 2018. Engine Rare 6 speed sport 2500 245 HIgh Output. New clutch, new vp44, lift pump, water pump, ac runs cold, has rare 55 block, sport package 245 horse six speed. Stopped using because of injector failure. Truck still runs, but sounds bad because of injector problem. As a result it leaks unused fuel. Still gets 22mpg on highway even with injector problem. To get going, truck needs new fuel, and existing fuel lines to be cleaned out. Both batteries need to be charged or replaced. In 2015 truck was in prefect shape minus the dash and paint failure, then when I got sick, I barely drove from 2015-2018, then ultimately let sit where is it today. Truck was purchased new by me in 2001 and I put every mile on it. There is roughly 171,000 miles (give or take) on it. Only driven 10,000 miles since 2008. Still pics were taken about 8 months ago.
