About this vehicle This 2001 BMW 740iL is an original with updates to the exterior. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle is drivable and is not regularly driven. Vehicle Details Selling a 2001 BMW 740iL Highline rare model with 199k miles. Clean title and ready for a new owner. Tags valid until October 2022. Sitting low on coilovers (not by my choice or I would have reverted back to stock sport). Everything works ac works, recently serviced, It's been a Northern California car all its life. Mainly spending most of it's life in the Bay Area. Lots of maintenance receipts and records from when it was new huge folder with a 40k + expense on maintenance etc. This was taken care of. Comes with a full tank of Chevron premium gas ⛽. brakes good,tires as well. Has had timing done, vanos solenoids replaced with it vanos does still tick a bit not always. Im a BMW Enthusiast, Currently have too many BMW's and unfortunately this beauty has to go. Minor things like side seat controls cover is loose on driver side. Not all floor mats present. 2 small window shade covers missing. Cup holders broken per usual, humming noise when 0-40 on a warm car dealer couldn't find the cause. could be something very simple. dent on the trunk lid edge Big con: Transmission shudders here and there at last gear while cruising occasionally, that goes away in sport mode if it does happen. Roof has clear damage, overall paint isn't showroom quality at this point. When cleaned and buffed up looks good. Otherwise drives great, recent new windshield (heated version), new agm battery, front plate delete(expensive piece however plate trim included) new coolant expansion tank, and the list goes on.(Lots of receipts big folder since new).
