2001 BMW 325 Ci, 3-Series E 46 Convertible. Condition is "Used".
Drive in style with this convertible powerhouse: 190 horse power, 6-cylinder straight line engine, with the typical for the all BMWs rear-wheel drive. Go from 0 to 60 mph in 7.2 seconds. The automatic transmission has a regular and sports mode. You can also switch it to manual for a more dynamic and sports-like driving.
SOME HIGHLIGHTS
The tires and battery are new. The top is in perfect condition. Recently changed brake pads.
Almost new, soft top, automatic. At the press of a button the top goes into the back and out of sight - you can now feel the breeze while you drive. The car was kept in a garage during the years I owned it. The car drives very smoothly, steady on the turns, has automatic adjustment of driving style. The roll-over protection mechanism is installed in the rear seat headrests - when the vehicle senses that two wheels are off the ground the roll-over protection automatically pops up in a fraction of a second. The engine is absolute beast and fully adequate for the body and style of the car. The RWD allows for easy and precise steering.
The front seats have 10-way electrical adjustment. It is also a nice feature that you have 3 levels of heating to the seat. This feature is especially nice when you are driving with the top down and it gets chilly.
The car has working air conditioning and heating system which is climate controlled.
ISSUES
Here is the list of minor problems: the front bumper needs to be painted and one of the fog lights is missing on the front, passenger side. There is some sunburn to the paint on the external rear-view mirrors and a bit on the rear of the trunk. Also there is a coolant light on the dash that goes on and off. My mechanic says that it is a sensor issue as he finds no problem with the cooling system. There are no leaks or loss of coolant. I have had no issue with the cooling system so far. The sound from the speakers of the stereo can sometimes sound a bit rough. The third rear stop light does not work. The normal "wear and tear" on the interior for a car this age.
The car just passed the CA rigorous smog check (STARS), is fully registered and the title is clean.
