Vehicle description
For sale is my stage 3 B5 S4. I am the third owner (first three owners on CarFax was the first owner changing states). The car is about as complete as these seem to come including fully upgraded suspension, brakes, ECU, turbos and accessories, ect. . The car has 91k on it. Its almost perfect on the exterior with a few small scratches (less than 2in) on the drivers side, 1 small chip out of drivers door, and a small trim piece missing, and some slight scratches on the front bumper. The car has been de-badged and painted (by original owner) to look like a A4 with the black moldings and roof, but I assure you its and S4. I was told that he wanted it to be a "sleeper".The interior is clean and looks like a new car.
Here is what I know needs work now:
-The big one is that the 1st/2nd gear shift collar has failed and the car will not go into second, third, or fourth.
-There is an oil leak that appears to be on the cooling supply line to the turbo (should be easy to fix while doing trans). It leaks roughly 10mL (see pic) after the car is parked after a drive.
-The EGT sensor failed shortly after purchase which has tripped an engine code (see pic). I bought new panels to replace them, but it will require some work. Part of the codes that it threw also pointed me to look at the ICM"s of which I bought new ones as well just in case.
-And of course the LCD screen has 30%ish dead pixels.
-The ignition or clutch switch is broken making it difficult to start.
-Battery is currently dead. I was driving it until the shift collar failed and even a bit after, but it hasn"t been driven in around 8 months.
-These are the things I am currently aware of. Car is sold as is with no warranty or returns. -I replaced the rear brakes (rotors, calipers, pads) which are an upgraded large brake, but the front will need new rotors/pads. They are Stasis two piece rotors which are hard to find. There are many other options out there for a different upgrade though.
I wanted to buy a fast car that would be reliable, but this has turned out to need more work than I have time for hence the low price. I will be taking a large loss on the car (paid 14,200), but we are moving, and I want it out of my garage. The rims alone can be sold for a hefty price, but I don"t want to part out the car as it will make a great car for the right person.
I have all the receipts for the parts on the car but not the install receipts. It looks like most of the work was done on the car between 2007-2009. The car drives great and handles like a sport bike. It has been a west coast car (no rust) and driven exclusively in the summer. I am willing to drive/deliver within reasonable distance of Reno otherwise we can arrange transport.

Alcon/Stasis Brake Kits front and rear
Some brand XEON headlights Headliner and Alcantra is in great condition.
