Vehicle description

This 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue OSV Concept Car was built by General Motors to showcase “Oldsmobile Speciality Vehicles,” a proposed performance sub-brand for its oldest marque. The car shows just 493 miles and was owned by the GM Heritage Museum collection until 2008. Finished in metallic red over tri-tone gray/beige/red leather, power comes from a 3.5-liter supercharged V6 paired to a 4-speed automatic transmission. M odifications from the factory include 19″ wheels, Brembo brakes, Koni coilover struts, custom body kit, Borla exhaust, and more as detailed below. This W-body Olds is offered with period promotional materials, keys, GM Heritage Museum information placard and stand, a copy of a 1999 Autoweek cover story, and a bill of sale.
This Intrigue was displayed alongside a Silhouette minivan and Alero coupe with similar modifications before entering the GM Heritage collection. The exterior features custom front and rear spoilers, ground effects, Borla center-exit exhaust, and OSV fender badges.
Brakes and suspension were upgraded by GM with Brembo 13″ cross-drilled discs and Koni coilover struts and springs. The 19″ RH Evolution C6 wheels wear Oldsmobile center caps and are wrapped Michelin Pilot XGT Z4 tires.
The interior is trimmed in red, gray, and beige leather and features titanium pedals, a leather-wrapped two-tone steering wheel, and custom 8-position climate-controlled Recaro seats with OSV-upholstered headrests. Standard features include air conditioning, power windows/locks/steering, cruise control, power sunroof, and a Delco AM/FM/CD/cassette stereo. The 3.5-liter DOHC “Shortstar” V6 was introduced in 1999 and was based on Cadillac’s Northstar V8. Paired with a Hydromatic 4T65-E 4-speed automatic transmission, the OSV gained a supercharger and sent 260 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque to the front wheels. The seller recently replaced the windshield washer reservoir with a stock GM unit to correct a dashboard warning light. This car and the Alero OSV were featured on the cover of the November 29, 1999 issue of Autoweek. A copy of the issue is included in the sale, along with other promotional materials, keys, and a placard and stand from the GM Heritage Museum. Due to its status as a concept vehicle, the car has never been titled or registered and is offered with a bill of sale. PLEASE NOTE: There is NO title with this vehicle (despite what is stated earlier in the auction - ebay makes a seller select the type of title). It never had one as it is a concept car. It is NOT legal to drive on the road. Perhaps you can get it titled in your State but that is up to you. I will not answer any questions related to titling the car. As stated above you will receive a bill of sale. I can have it notarized if you need it notarized.
This is a beautiful car that would be a great car to take to shows or if you are a GM or Olds person is a must for your collection. You are not likely to ever find a concept car at this price again. I had this car fully detailed. Since then it has been sitting covered in my garage. I need the space or I would be keeping it.
I welcome in person inspections but they must be done BEFORE you place a bid or buy it now. Once the auction ends it is your car. Buyer must contact me via email within 24 hours to discuss final payment. I am well versed in vehicle shipping all and am happy to assist the buyer with shipping.
