Only 3000 Special Edition"s were produced for the 2000 model year (Worldwide). This automobile is #2908 of 3000. This 2000 Mazda Miata Special Edition has been removed from my collection and is being offered up for sale. This Special Edition features a 6-speed manual gearbox, with only 19,200 miles since new. This car was produced with a special color, Torsen LSD and Nardi wood interior trim, and leather seats. This Miata has always been garaged and covered when not in use, and being sold with a clean title. 2000 Miata Special Editions were only offered in this car’s color combo of Mahogany Mica with polished alloy wheels, a parchment colored top and matching leather interior. The paintwork and body panels remain original and have no dings or dents. The engine compartment is in flawless condition mechanically . . and aesthetically. Parchment colored top is original and free of creases and dark spots in the material. The glass rear window is equipped with a defroster, and a parchment colored boot protects the top when stowed. Because of the low miles and protective measures, the surfaces and special edition embroidered mats are very well preserved. Special Edition Miatas received a Nardi wood-rimmed steering wheel, wood shift knob, wood hand brake end and console surround. Special Editions also received a 6-speed manual gearbox (a 5-speed unit being standard on base NB Miatas). Air conditioner blows cold. For 2000 the Miata was fitted with Mazda’s BP-4W twin-cam four cylinder with Mazda’s Variable Intake Control System (VICS). The transmission shifts smoothly and quietly, and the limited slip differential fitted on Special Edition cars is quiet and works perfectly. The underside is clean and nuts and bolts largely show the factory gold-colored plating. The brake pads have minimal wear and are in good working condition. Tires have are in excellent condition with the slightest of wear reflecting the low mileage. Included with the car is a protective cotton car cover. The car is sold with a clean title, and records of past maintenance preformed on the car. Again, do not pass this automobile up if you are looking for the most beautiful low mileage Miata Special Editions on the market today. And if you have been looking specifically for the beautiful color combinations of the 2000 Miata Special Edition, you know that these cars do not come on the market with this low mileage everyday.
