Vehicle description
I am selling my beautifully maintained 2000 Mazda Miata LS. I am a car enthusiast and keep my cars in excellent condition. Although I only use this car on weekends, I’ve washed it once a week, dream detailed it at least every 6 months and have always garaged it. The previous owners also garaged the car and took great care of it. You will be hard pressed to find another NB model Miata in such good condition. Everything works, needs nothing at all. This light little car is a sheer joy to drive, and I always get compliments on it, even though my area of Miami Beach is replete with high end exotics. I bought this car around 2 years ago, and since then have done the following maintenance, repairs and upgrades:
-replaced shift boot and brake lever boot with English made leather Black and Tan colored boots;
-upgraded plastic shifter bushing with heavy duty steel aluminum bushing and replaced transmission oil;
-new convertible top with glass window (appproximately $1,200);
-replaced front motor seal with upgraded aftermarket seal to address minor oil leak, very common with these cars;
-oil and filter change every 6 months;
-all exterior light bulbs replaced;
-new OEM rubber pedal covers;
-replaced both headlights, makes a huge difference in the appearance of the car;
-recently replaced front brake pads and rotors - last month with oil change;
-upgraded front brake lines to braided stainless steel lines;
-replaced floor mats with color matched mats with the word Miata stitched on the mat in green;
-replaced air conditioner condenser, blows cold;
-tinted all windows, tasteful tint on sides, very light tint on front and rear;
-removed resonator from exhaust, gives the car a more aggressive tone while accelerating in higher rpms;
-I stalked mesh grille insert over front air intake fascia;
-K&N air filter;
-replaced the battery.
As I said before, this car is in absolutely great shape and needs nothing. It has a few minor rock chips, one ding above one of the rear wheel wells and a tiny bit of paint cracking (around the size of a nickel) on the front bumper, but is overall in far better condition than most 19 year old cars. Few people are as finicky as me about their cars, so you will not be disappointed.
