Vehicle description

Up for sale is a 2000 "Chevrolet" Metro. For some reason, ebay does not have Metro listed under the Chevrolet category, so I had to list it under Geo. If you know anything about the 2000 Metro, you know that it isn"t a Chevrolet or Geo, but a rebadged Suzuki Swift. Everything about this car is a Suzuki except for the Chevy emblem on the hood and steering wheel. As soon as you hear it crank up, you know without a doubt it is a Japanese starter/engine.
I bought this little car to play around with, fix up and putter around the city in. Since my other vehicle is a diesel truck, I have saved a lot of money in gas running back and forth to work and running errands in it. I"m looking to buy a house soon, so I need the money in the bank vs. having a second vehicle. Nothing is wrong with the car and I have no doubt that it will be reliable transportation for the next owner.
THE GOOD Brand new paint and clear coat Rust-free southern car Tires are in great shape - Lot of tread New Bluetooth, USB, Aux stereo with new front speakers New headliner! Old one had fallen apart which is normal on these cars New spark plugs, wires and ignition coils New floor mats Original factory Chevrolet wheel covers Non-smoker vehicle Full synthetic transmission fluid recently COLD A/C - see picture of my meat thermometer probe in the A/C vent. It was about 85 degrees outside when I took that picture. Cranks right up with no hesitation and idles perfectly Transmission shifts smoothly Great gas mileage Was told by previous owner that timing belt was changed out around 60K miles, but I do not have documentation to prove it. THE NOT SO GOOD
The paint job is not "show" quality - there are imperfections. You aren"t buying a $30K pre-owned Corvette, so have realistic expectations people! Carpet under the mats shows dirt and/or previous spills. I cleaned it as best I could, but it isn"t perfect by any means. The air breather hose under the hood has some tape around it (basically a band-aid on a crack in the plastic tubing). Let me know if you have any questions. Mileage might go up slightly while listing is up b/c I will probably still use it to run errands.
