Vehicle description
2000 Ford long haul truck, F550, 17,500 GVWR, I bought this truck for picking up antique military vehicles as I am a collector, I got in a bad accident and as a result, lost my right foot to amputation. No more long hauls, forced to sell, well here it is: This truck was built to haul a concession trailer and was put together by a very smart person, has a factory sleeper and custom built bed and tool boxes. It only has 124K miles from new and I did allot of work to it, new exhaust manifolds, emergency brake cables, new rubber brake lines, has recent brakes and rotors, new gas tank (some factory tanks were made too thin wall) I got the good tank, I just installed an "Edge CS2", (cost $600) programmer as shown in dash picture, this is the best programmer you can buy, does more the a boost in power-I set at lowest setting 60 horse bump, but it gives exhaust temp, trans temp, boost, RPM and speed and much much more, I also put a front 2 inch receiver hitch to slide in a winch or maybe haul a cycle, stainless steel front grill guard. The truck has 4 recent tires could use two more soon. The sleeper has a flat screen TV with inverter, has a jack knife sofa, also has two bench seats opposing each other like for a dinette, bed is set up for goose neck but can be converted to fifth wheel if necessary, it also has rear air conditioning that runs off the truck, there are three aluminum tool boxes and an exit out the passenger side of the sleeper. It has a roof vent and there is a passage from the front to the rear through the cab into the sleeper, that"s why there are bucket seats to open up a path way, well planned. Notice in the last picture, the grid panel next to the cabinet that is the air conditioning that runs off the cab air and cools the rear area, there is also a flat screen TV that runs off an inverter to 110 volts. It runs strong and drives like a new truck, this configuration would cost close to 100K new and you wouldn"t get the 7.3 Diesel that has proven to be the best, I wished I didn"t have to sell it, because it is a one of a kind truck, in great condition and has allot of life left in her, every time I stop at a truck stop-it gets attention, I can stop the auction early, call me for more info, I am not near my computer sometimes for days, Please, don"t email questions-that is why I put my cell number in my auctions, Bob cell
