Vehicle description
Here"s one of the nicest, rust free, rare, K2500 crew cabs you will find! This is my 5th one of these in the last 15 years and the cleanest one of them all! Plus it"s a 454 with 3.73 limited slip and leather! I leased a truck to use at our business while going over this one and now I really don"t want to drive it on our salty roads! Everything listed has been done in the last 2-8000 miles!
129,700 miles and may go up depending on how long it"s listed.
SLT with leather 3.73 limited slip 16x8 Ultra wheels LT235/80/16 E rated General Grabber AT"s 4l80E lost overdrive so I had it rebuilt with all updates and new lines and a rear U-joint
454 flattened a cam lobe this spring. I had a new NAPA HDE (high durability engine) installed with all new everything including the AC compressor and used the best quality or AC Delco parts all from NAPA.
Aluminum 3 row "Desert Cool" radiator installed
Rear brakes and axle seals done Bedliner is older and has some chips out of it Gooseneck ball I had welded in place. It had been laying down in it"s pocket for so long it took forever to get it back up. Truck had a topper when I got it. I only used the ball a few times pulling new trailers back to our dealership Aftermarket muffler with stainless tailpipe from a Ford that was smoother and less restrictive than the GM one
New combo 7 and 4 way plug in rear New 7 way plug in the bed
Backup camera rear LED spotlights on switch New brake controller 2015-up style tow mirrors. Courtesy lights hooked up in them. Turn signals are not but wires strung to under the dash New GM drivers bottom leather seat cover was installed a year ago.
Stereo is a new Kenwood with Bluetooth. Infinity Kappa front speakers run on a Blaupunkt 150x2 amp and a Kicker Pro Comp 10" sub behind the seat on an old classic Rockford Punch amp. This was all done a few months ago.
New Running Boards Body/Undercarriage: New cowl induction hood and windshield done a few months ago I hate rust. I only bought it because it had none! I pulled the flares and painted them with Raptor bedliner. I cleaned out above the rust free rear wheel wells and the bottoms of all 4 doors and filled them with Eastwood frame coating until it was dripping out of all the drain holes. It dries to a hard shell. I cleaned the frame and underside and sprayed with Raptor undercoating, including the bottom of the cab. Recently I sprayed the entire underside with Fluid Film to protect from the winter salt. I have only run the lease truck when the roads are sloppy. It"s kept in our heated shop.
The truck never had running boards and clearly lived on gravel so the rockers were sandblasted. I sanded them down, sprayed epoxy primer, base white, and 2k clear from the body line down. Then I added the running boards to protect them. This was last fall. From there on up is original paint (except hood now) and has chips here and there that have been touched up. Bumpers are original and both have a shallow dent in them that is hard to see. Headlights are original, wet sanded and clear coated because the aftermarket ones suck.
Side windows have the typical scratches from rolling up and down.
