Car was running fine, then started to overheat on occasion. When it got hot out, it started to overheat more frequently. I flushed the radiator and put in a new thermostat, but same symptoms. Then I tried some Blue Devil head sealer as I guessed that was the issue. No change. Thermostat is still out. Starts and runs fine, will just overheat within 5 or 10 miles.
It was my beater car I used for golf and just running around in, had it for over 80K miles and never a problem. Everything works pretty good, wheel sensor going out causing the traction lights to come on sometimes.
Would make a good parts car as no rust I can see and working pretty good for an 18 year old car.
Or, if you can fix the overheating issue, which I assume is a head gasket (thus the blue devil), probable has a lot more miles in it. Tires have about 20k on the I believe, and I think they were either 60 or 80k tires.
