Vehicle description
This listing and photos should provide a fully transparent description of the vehicles condition. Exterior is a 5 out of 10 and looks good from a distance. It has a few minor dings and surface rust. Also has a crack in the front bumper from city parking. The interior is a 7 out of 10. It’s clean and not missing any parts but has normal wear expected for the year and mileage. All the power and convenience options work including the air conditioning and minus the passenger side seat massager. Tool kit missing hazard triangle. First aid kit intact never used. Ski bag and pass through intact. New battery, Michelin Extreme Tires, two oxygen sensors, and xenon high intensity bulbs. The brake pads and rotors have less than 3,000 miles of wear. The calipers were cleaned and lubricated and reinstalled at the time of break service. The brakes work perfectly. The rear suspension is good with no signs of failing parts. The front suspension is not so BMW and will need new parts installed. It’s a bit softer than it should be and the body roll when taking on/off ramps suggest new struts would be a wise investment in the near future. The lower control arms/thrust bushings are just now starting to wear and should be replaced because of very slight vibration when braking over 60 miles per hour. The coolant reservoir weeps slightly (never needed to add coolant between oil changes) and should also be replaced. It looses 1/4 quart of of oil between oil changes and I never diagnosed why because my driveway is clean and it never bothered me. The engine starts right up, idles smooth, and is powerful. The transmission shift’s perfectly and service every 50,000 miles with fluid and filter changes. It’s a good daily driver as is. Excellent weekend cruiser as is. It still turns heads and receives compliments as is. I don’t think it would take much to bring it to the next level. Beautiful color combination. Rims are in very good condition. Dash pixels suffering from common display issue. Two key fobs. Complete owners booklets. This car has been loved and cared for its whole life. Time for a new owner.
