Vehicle description
Details:
-1993 Montego Blue Touring package. Manual transmission. 56500 miles. Clean title/Carfax. I am the 2nd owner (I purchased this in 2017 from a physician in Indianapolis).
-Car is stock aside from a couple reliability mods (Koyo stainless radiator, metal expansion tank, n-tech ceramic downpipe) & Racing Beat catback.
-Bridgestone RE-11"s put on last year with ~600 miles on them.
-Motor is healthy. No issues with hot start, etc. I haven"t compression tested it yet but it cranks over immediately. I did check vacuum at idle after it"s warmed up & it pulls a solid 17inhg at 750rpm.
-List of recent maintenance done in gallery from my tracking spreadsheet.
-All documents since new (window sticker, service receipts, manuals, etc). 2 keys+valet key. -No rust, no corrosion on underside/etc. Car was always garaged & stored over the winter.
Old car things:
-CD player will not read CDs -AC needs recharge -Front bumper was repainted due to paint cracking/road rash
Why am I selling?
This was a bucket list car for me. IMO it is the most beautiful car to come out of Japan in the last 30 years, but unfortunately I simply don"t drive it enough. I will certainly miss seeing it in the garage & will likely regret selling it, but I"d like to focus on other hobbies at this point. Don"t meet your heroes does not apply to this car, it"s every bit as good as people make it out to be.
