Vehicle description
Up for sale is a two owner 1952 Chevrolet Pick Up with only 23xx miles. Yes that is only twenty three hundred miles and change. The truck originally was used on an airport for most of its life as a fire truck. We purchased the truck during the late 2000’s and like most projects it was stored in our garage until we finally got a solid plan of what we wanted to do with it. The plan was to make it into a classic farm truck. We removed the fire truck body and had the flat deck made by an expert fabricator. The truck was than fully prepped with an stunning paint job that did not spare any expense or details. The painter was also a expert that took their time and it really shows in the job. The frame and underneath was coated with the rust proofing made by Pur 15 which is the ultimate metal protection. The interior is amazing with all original seats, door panels and much more. The rear deck was custom made using red oak wood, secured with stainless steel hardware, and coated. The truck does not have a stereo in it and I never had the desire to put one in. There is something timeless about driving this truck that I think a stereo would spoil. This truck has a straight six cylinder engine matched to a four speed manual transmission. The emblems are original on this truck and even the brakes very well could be the original parts from the factory. The future owner may want to replace the tires, they were on the truck when we got it and I am not sure of their age. This vehicle has a NJ title and is currently registered with historic license plates that qualify it for very low cost insurance. There is nothing like driving this on a nice day with the wind coming in the cab. It really brings one back to a more simple time period and is a great break to disconnect from the current world. Trucks like this do not come on the market often and whoever buys this truck will love it just as much as we have. In person inspection is welcomed, if you plan on bidding lets"s discuss shipping and payment arrangements ahead of time to ensure a smooth transaction. Thank you for looking.
