Vehicle description
The given features/specs: 3.0i model /225hp 6-speed manual transmission sport mode black exterior black leather interior AMS rain-sensing wipers power mirrors AM/FM/CD with premium sound sport mode (via push button) power seats heated seats remote lock/unlock/trunk via key (two keys included) Things that makeTHIS Z4 special: LOW, LOW miles (56,522). Purchased May 2014 with 43699 miles. That’s less than 13k miles in 7 years, and an average of less than 3500 miles a yearsince new. regular oil/lube; most recent oil change: August 2021 new battery March 2021 new tires at miles 53622: Bridgestone Driveguard (two 225/40ZR18, two255/35ZR18) Aftermarket car cover included; like new BMW trickle charger included (in case you park it for the winter) No accidents,no fender-benders. Clean title in hand Best, fastest and best-handling car I have ever owned Issues/problems/negatives: Not garaged since I bought it. That means that black paint/finish is wearing a bit, and the paint on BMW badge on the engine hood has mostly flaked off. Recently detailed and waxed, and water beads up. But the painted surfaces have normal wear for a non-garaged vehicle of its age. Electric top is NOT functioning. Top is up/closed and does not leak, but will not open. I had my mechanic take a look at it; he suspects (but cannot verify) that it may need a new top motor. I got a rough quote for a new motor: $700 parts, $800labor. Needing a new motor is worst-case. It may be something less problematic. The price of the vehicle takes this problem into consideration. Cup holder on driver side is jammed shut. (A rare design flaw in BMWs; German design engineers don’t think you should drink while driving a Z4,and they’re right.) A bit of wear on the top of the shift knob (I wear a ring on my right hand). Headlight lenses are “frosted” over, one more than the other. A bit of rash on underside of front lip (from driving up steep driveway) No other known issues. This is one great car.
