1999 VW GLS Cabrio with power top, 4 speed automatic transmission, A/C and seat heaters. It has 60,320 documented miles and is in excellent condition. Car was garaged in southern California for its entire life and I am the second owner. The Original Tornado Red paint is excellent with a small scuff on front right bumper, shown in photos. Transmission was replaced by dealer early in its life and shifts and operates as new. Factory leather Recaros that are fully adjustable, supportive and comfortable. Fabric top is like new, has the factory boot, a glass rear window with defroster and works flawlessly. All windows, gauges and cruise control work perfectly. The clock works but cannot be adjusted as the adjuster knob slips. Tires are speed rated Kumos and fresh within the last year (less than 5000 miles). No damage history and clean CarFax. Car is completely stock with the 2.0 liter 115 h.p. motor. A late model Pioneer radio with bluetooth is installed (original radio included). This Volkswagen certainly demonstrates it’s German heritage as it remains squeak and rattle free. An absolute joy to drive with it’s nimble size and responsive steering. This Cabrio runs and drives very well. Perfect for open top motoring while enjoying excellent fuel economy. Very difficult to find one of these with such low miles ,records and in excellent condition. Local pickup welcome and will work with buyer if vehicle needs to be shipped.
