Vehicle description
I purchased this car around 12 months ago and have been using it as a reliable daily driver since then. I planned to keep it as a long-term project, touching up any areas that need addressing, and upgrading any parts and components where/if needed over time. However, due to an unexpected relocation to the north for work, I have decided to sell it on. It runs well, is great fun to drive, and I"ll be truly sad to see it go.
Some of the more recent work undertaken on the car: - Replaced rear tires (1.5k miles ago) fronts still have a good amount of tread - Replaced OEM engine mounts for upgraded Function-First Performance semi-solid mounts (8mo/7k miles ago) - Headlights recently replaced - Front end resprayed (~18mo ago) - New Geba water pump (4mo/3k miles) - 4x Pioneer G-Series 4" speakers (8mo) - Oil separator replace (Nov 17) - Rear discs and pads replaced (Aug 17) - A/C Compressor replaced (Aug 16) - Camshaft position sensor replaced (May 17) - Ignition switch replaced (Aug 16) - Completed/passed NC inspection (1 week ago)
It is a used car and it is about to reach 200k miles which of course means it"s not without its flaws. However, its only issues I know of are reasonably cost-effective to replace or amend. - Some suspension knocking due to wear on the sway bar drop links - CEL has been intermittently coming on and off reading P0410 + P1411. The MAF is fine (tested with a brand new unit which is included as a spare) and the Secondary Air Pump appears to run as it should, It is therefore likely to be a vacuum leak - The corners of the rear window seal have somewhat lifted over the years which can be fixed one of two ways. Either by replacing the seal altogether or by using an epoxy/sealant to keep the corners flush. - Some stone chips and small scratches, but overall good condition for its year/mileage - The usual wear on the most-used interior surfaces such as seat, steering wheel, and gear stick - The doors do not lock either mechanically or with the key fob. This has been the case since before I owned the car and it"s not really been a concern for me but one I would have perhaps addressed later down the line - The passenger side window should normally drop down an inch when you open the door but it doesn"t quite drop enough. This just means you"ll need to drop the window an inch or so when you open/close it to reseal it properly
Also comes with the original wheels and good tires.
If you would like any more information or for higher-res images, please let me know!
