Vehicle description
For sale is my beloved 1999 Porsche Carrera 4 convertible, located in Manhattan, NY. Runs great, and is in very good condition inside and out. To be completely upfront, here are some additional details that I would appreciate as a buyer of this car:
-Originally bought from a dealer in Long Island in the beginning of 2016. It was very well kept and serviced. I believe it had 2 prior owners to myself at the time. I am looking to sell to upgrade to a larger vehicle (SUV), but have enjoyed this car, and has been fun to drive
-The car has been kept in a parking garage, but the spot is outdoors
-Brand new tires, both front and back (in the pictures I think the front tires were old, but have since been replaced)
-Has an aftermarket pioneer stereo, which has bluetooth and a USB port to connecting to phones
-Convertible top is fully functional, with no issues, tears, or signs of wear
-Clutch is still strong, the breaks are decent
-Includes the original factory remote key, along with a spare valet key
-A few minor issues to consider - Again, just want to be upfront, but I do consider these to be minor, and should be easily addressable:
The windshield has a very very small chip on the driver"s side. It doesn"t show up on pictures, and it is probably less than an 1/8th of an inch in size, and does not pierce fully through
The driver"s side of the car has 2 markings on them that I received while I was parked in the city. One is on the driver"s side door (see pictures), and the other is above the rear tire (also faintly visible in the pictures). I have been offered to buff these out by multiple people, so it seems like an easy fix There is a slight drain on the battery if the car is not driven regularly. It doesn"t prevent the car from starting (it always starts), but on occasion you need to hold the ignition a little extra. However, I would say typically it starts right up with no delay.
Outside of that, the car is fantastic, and I would be happy to show it in person if interested. As mentioned, it drives perfect, and I hope it would serve the next owner well. Please reach out to me if you have any questions.
Enjoy driving with the top down, just in time for the summer!
