Vehicle description
Mostly stock - Minor modifications are listed below. Mostly serviced only at Mitsubishi dealers with OEM parts, Shell V-Power fuel, and Mobil 1 oil. I"ve owned from 2007. Needs some work but still runs.
Problems: Engine vibration/noise - Engine mounts need replaced! Some smoke at prolonged idle - Engine valve seals need replaced Stuttering on heavy throttle - Either the throttle position sensor and/or spark plugs (I"ll throw in a new set of spark plugs) and wires need replaced or it may be a boost leak somewhere? ABS deactivated - Passenger front ABS sensor needs replaced Front bumper is in rough shape Passenger door handle missing/broken Some clear-coat fading Some minor dents and scratches around car but nothing too major other than the front bumper Driver"s seat bottom stitching is coming undone a little Headlamps hazed up - need resurfacing Fog bulbs are out Trunk struts don"t keep trunk up - Need new trunk struts or a prop Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires are pretty worn and front driver"s side may have slow leak There may be some other minor issues I have forgotten to mention here but I"m pretty sure that"s it
Just replaced timing belt, water pump, and installed a new Bosch battery. Transmission was replaced with a brand new Mitsubishi unit a few years ago.
Mods: Koni Sport shocks (stock springs - very good balance of comfort and stability) NGK Iridium spark plugs (I"ll throw in a brand new set of these spark plugs) NGK Power spark plug wires Gates Racing accessory belts Compressor Bypass/Boost Valve is metal from the stock Evo X (I"ll still give you the original plastic one too) PIAA Wipers OSRAM Night Breaker bulbs
I"ve spent a ton of money keeping this car up over the years but sadly it"s time to depart as I have a new daily driver and can"t afford to keep two cars. It"s a very good all around car and is great for tuners. Let me know if you have any questions about it!
