Probably one of the nicest 2nd generation Mountaineer/Explorers around.Solid rot free body, original black paint. Super clean leather interior. Loaded with options, Sliding sun roof, AM/FM/CD premium sound with 6 stack changer( cartridge missing) Climate control, steering wheel controls of Heat, Radio and Cruise. Always garaged and meticiliouslly maintained. 5.0 v8 runs like a top, and has tons of power along with fuel economy. I did 19mpg bringing this home. 4 new tires, brakes are like new, I see new wheel bearings new rotors. New fuel filter and new air filter, Newer fuel pump. Just had all fluids changed including motor oil and filter, transmission, transfer case and differentials. Has a rear trac lock rear end and is AWD. Mountaineer has towing package with class 3 hitch. Air blows cold heat is hot. All power options work with the exception of the drivers side mirror, it works then it does not. Not sure if it is a motor or the switch. Has autolamp, travel and system computer, auto dim interior mirror. This generation of Explorer/Mountaineer was the best IMO of all that were made. A true testament of how long they lasted. Wish I had the room, I would keep this thing forever, god knows we will never see stuff made like this ever again. Autocheck shows a minor collision with another vehicle,if this is true I have no idea where, as this thing is all original, there are some nicks and a couple dings from normal use, but I see no evidence of any external repair.
