This has been my wife’s car for 10 years. Meticulously maintained, with all receipts for service since purchase. Transmission rebuilt less than 5,000 miles ago (past warranty date though). Full 100,000 mile service includes remove and clean full intake and throttle body, new valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, air, oil, and fuel filters. In-tank fuel pump was replaces also. Less than 5,000 miles on tires. The infamous timing chain tensioners were upgraded by the previous owner. Stock sound system with AM/FM cassette player and remote CD changer. Body and paint in good condition, there is a dent in the hood where a branch fell out of a gardener’s truck in front of me on the highway. Interior is in good condition with only some crackling on the driver s seat (no splits) and no sags in the headliner. Ice Cold A/C, 5% Ceramic Window Tint ($400) has full UV protection. This has been a wonderful car and it still runs strong (I liked it so much that I bought a 2000 XJR), I wouldn’t hesitate to drive it across the country. We’re only letting it go because we found an 85 XJ6 (which my wife has been longing for). We just have too many Jags so this one needs a new home.
