This is a Great running and ve ry limited production vehicle with low miles (105K ) Please ask questions NOW not later or better yet come see it if you are serious
Very unique and ahead of it"s time sporty SUV that gets load s of attention. These have been going up, not down in value over the last couple years. Not many left and it seems that you either find some for a little less money that are high mileage and a bit rough or the nicer ones that people are asking much more for . . . If you want to put one in your garage and not drive in the winter (That"s what these are built for!) I would say buy one for 10 - 12 - or 15K and watch it go up in value. If you think cheaper is always better then buy one for a thousand or so less and get less and spend money and time working on it.
Runs and drives great . . . I take very good care of my ve hicles and The previous owners of this Vehicross obviously have too judging by the condition. I have owned it for 2 years and have only put around 2000 - 2500 miles on it because I have 5 other vehicles on the road that I also love . . My only reason for selling is that I really don"t have the room to store it and don"t want the expense of insuring 6 vehicles for 2 drivers. I have owned several of these in the past and love them. Better than money in the bank and more fun, so if I see a nice one and the price is reasonable I have a hard time resisting buying it. That"s the case with this one. I started driving it last year and have had no problems.
No ABS light (very common issue on these). No window problems, Brand new wheels and tires. New battery. . Many new parts and money spent! P ower windows , locks, etc. all work well. Transmission and 4WD work great, as they should. Very nice and clean interior. Very good body and paint condition! No accidents! straight body with all original white paint. Doesn"t burn oil or leak anything . New timing belt, updated intake gaskets, synthetic oil change, trans fluid, coolant, rear differential synthetic and pinion seal, new K&N air filter and intake, hoses all new rotors , Akebono Brakes on front and oem rotors made in Japan not China! new rear calipers, LED headlights, reverse lights, license plate lights, new catback exhaust with dynomax muffler (loud but not droning) upgraded stereo , equalizer, amp,etc. have the original stereo too that works perfect. a very well maintained vehicle. all within the last couple thousand miles and I"m sure I am forgetting things.
So. Why is this Vehicross a good deal?
No ABS light. . No window issues. . All the maintenance is done (read above) VERY LOW MILES ! ! . . Nice original body cladding . . . No Accidents. . For $7000 you get more attention and looks driving this than some overpriced high dollar muscle car . Fun in the summer and will go through a foot of snow , A great "Bang For Your Buck" Vehicle that goes up in value , not down. Very hard to find!
Negatives. .Problems?
Honestly not much other than it is 20 years old and nobody can predict the future. I can"t tell you if you can drive it California or anywhere with no problems but driving it this past year I have had zero problems other than a check engine light on twice early on and was reset but I haven"t seen it again for months now but of course there"s a chance it could come back. I forget what the code was but it was emissions related (something about fuel vapor?) but it does not affect the way it runs at all. I do remember it was the same code my other Vehicross had and my mechanic friend who is usually very meticulous said don"t worry about it on my other Vehicross. I felt the one rear caliper sticking a little once in a while so I replaced both. That"s it! only issues after 2000+ miles. I have had on several 100+ mile trips but nothing longer because I have several other vehicles we drive. Fuel gauge works but is slow going up and down, but does work.
Keep in mind that It is 20 years old and really does run and drive well but it is a northern vehicle and does not spend it"s entire life in the garage. With that being said. . It really is in better than average condition and other than very minor cosmetic impe rfectio ns as well as the usual underneath surface rust (has been undercoated) and minor wear from normal use etc. Of a 20 year old 4x4. It looks sharp and gets many com pliments. most people can"t believe it"s a 1999. they think it is much newer. Leather seats , carpet and interior are also in very good condition. . .Nice straight body . A Very dependable and nice driver!

If you go WAY back and check m y feedback (20 YEARS ON EBAY ) I have sold a few cars over the years and 2 other Vehicross as well and the buyers were very happy. My goal is to be honest and up front so we are both happy and not wasting each others valuable time. I only buy or sell Very Nice! And spe cial cars for my private use. I am not a dealer or some guy trying to buy a car and p atch it up and make a quick buck on a piece of junk. I am a 57 year old Non - Smoker. Not a kid that beats on his cars and doesn"t take care of them. I feel that it is priced very fair ly considering condition and m ileage so lets not waste time with ridiculous low offers.
