Vehicle description
This suburban would be PERFECT for hunting season, you could literally get anywhere and pull anything with this suburban. These 2500 suburbans are getting harder and harder to find, especially ones with the big block 454 / 7.4L engines and as low as mileage that this one has. This is a great suburban, the interior is in great condition with no rips or tears at all and it starts every time. Everything works on this suburban; the power windows, power seats, radio, a/c, heater, cruise control, everything. Also includes the 3rd row seat and is very clean.
In the last two years I have done the following to it:
Replaced the brake master cylinder
Put Bilstein shocks all around
Replace the exhaust manifold on the drivers side
There are only two real con to this suburban; the exhaust and the clear coat paint is starting to peal in couple spots. The exhaust is starting to rust and is a little rough. It doesn"t affect performance at all and its still all intacted, it just makes it sound a little meaner when you get on the gas. The pealing of the clear coat is the only defect on the exterior of this truck there is very little to no rust spots. The rust spots that it does have are on the nerf bars and the push bar. The running board and rear quarter panels, where most GMCs rot out at are in terrific condition and there is virtually no rust at all.
I have taken this suburban on many trips and wouldn"t hesitate to take it anywhere. I would keep it but the wife is pushing for me to get a new and more gas efficient suburban. If you have any questions just let me know. Thank you!
