Vehicle description

This auction is for a 1999 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG sedan in Brilliant Silver Metallic. I have owned the car since 2002 purchased from a Mercedes-Benz dealer and it has been a reliable tank, wonderful to drive. I had the car PA inspected in July 2020, upon inspection they noted the tires and brakes passed but recommended replacement. In August I purchase 4 new Michelin Pilot Sport tires installed. In October i took the car to have the brakes replaced and the technician found the right rear subframe rusted 50% of the way thru. The car has served me well but I already have a C63 AMG and have decided to buy a Tesla Model S. I had no intension of selling the car but this structural rust finally swayed my decision after happily driving this car daily for the past 18 years. It is currently too dangerous to drive because if the right rear suspension fails it would cause the car to potentially crash. For this reason i will not allow the car to be driven away and do not accept the responsibility of anyone injured.
