| “Current condition is poor in some areas. Has sat outside for over 3 years. Mechanical: needs alternator, tension pulley, serpentine belt, a line, and some tires (all original wheels are there). Paint is mostly good with some thin on roof and damage on bumpers and ground effects. Ground effects cracked and damaged. Interior needs cleaning. Some parts reinstalled. 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan that was customized on Pimp My Ride television show.

1999 Dodge Grand Caravan that was customized on the TV show Pimp My Ride. See the episode online, search - "Pimp My Ride Plymouth Grand Voyager" or "Pimp My Ride Laila"s Grand Voyager". Van in episode was in such bad shape that the show decided to purchase a low mileage Dodge Grand Caravan and customize that, that is why the difference between vehicles. Van was a garage queen for few years and then due to changes in life it pressed into daily service by my wife. Then it sat out in the driveway in Scituate RI for over 3 years. Van is all there except for heart shaped exhaust tip which fell off somewhere along the way. TV footrest was removed when it was carrying kids daily, it is there in van but would need to be reinstalled. Everything worked when parked. Amazing electronics, great sound system, lots of TV"s, and one of the favorite features was the lighted dance floor, real cool especially at night. Denim seats could use a cleaning (not terrible, currently have cheap seat covers on front seats) Footrest TV reinstalled if wanted Air bag light was on and steering column cover was removed to diagnose, will need reattchment Fiberglass ground effects cracked and chipped and some paint flaking on ground effects. rear bumper has paint bubbling from exhaust heat after heart tail piece fell off. Paint damage where sliding side door scrapes when opening and a few spots here and there. Some paint fade on roof and small trim pieces on roof, one piece missing. Rest of paint OK, still looks good, could use another polish, tribal good. Mechanical issues from sitting: Alternator and / or tension belt seized and belt broke, these would need repair to drive any distance. Starts and runs but no belt, no alternator charge, no cooling fan so it can not go far but can be loaded easily on truck or trailer (remember ground effects which can be removed if needed), brakes rusty may need a caliper, and I believe there is a rusted line (brake or fuel, can ask my mechanic). Van is not rusted just components from sitting. Battery was new last fall but may be no good now ? I do not know condition of the Yellow Top batteries that drive the electronics, they are located under rear seat. Electronics are amazing, head unit, 9 TV"s, alarm system, speakers, laser light show. Probably the best looking minivan ever. Still attracts attention. Electronics are great. Well worth some investment of time and $"s. Do the work yourself and for $400 in parts and have a cool looking fun van. Invest more dollars to bring the ground effects and other components back and have a show piece again. My mechanic says if a garage was to do repairs to mechanics it would cost approx $1000, add to purchase price and for cheap money be back on the road again. I was going to bring back to Southern California and restore to operating condition, but things have not worked out so far so am selling to someone who will enjoy it again.
