Vehicle description

1999 Chevy Suburban K1500
THE GOOD-Mechanic owned. I bought this truck 10 years ago with 89K on it since then here is the list of items I have replaced.
Installed new engine at 125K, Oil serviced every 5K W/syn oil,Transmission rebuilt with heavy duty clutches, torque converter and Amsoil Syn ATF at the same time. Items replaced at various times- All transmission cooler lines, oil cooler lines, Power steering hoses, motor mounts, power steering pump and box, alternator, A/C compressor, water pump, transmission mount, pitman arm, idler arm, inner and outer tie rods, all U-joints, polyurethane bushings installed along with A/C delco HD shocks, all ball joints done 6 months ago, front and rear diffs with syn fluid, transfer case serviced with Trac2 fluid, Installed 4 core aluminum radiator and HD fan and clutch, installed optional electric fan for when a/c is on, brake lines, calipers, wheel cylinders, all brake hardware etc., installed Gibson stainless steel exhaust system, recent tires, and windshield replaced.
THE BAD- the front seats are rough, the blower motor only works on high (needs new pigtail harness behind heater control), RR window works but makes bad noise so switch is taped off(needs window regulator), mirror switch is bad, visor mirror lights inop, rear E-brake cables stick(both rear cables need to be replaced), front brakes are pitted and rears pulse a little at higher speeds, both front axle seals and rear pinion seal seep(I just check fluid levels when doing LOF)
THE UGLY- This truck was used primarily for family camping trips and off road beach use, the body has it"s share of rust and scratches on it and the rear bumper is hurting, this truck needs a body man"s touch.
