* Relisted due to Non Paying Bidder (geomckiv0 -George McKivens San Diego, CA)* Guys, if you have to ask your boyfriend if its ok to buy a car, PLEASE do NOT waste my time and money! Go play with your Xbox, is not a game. . . .
1999 Cadillac Deville with only 52,384 miles. I bought this car last year in Florida, right out of the carport of an elderly lady who did not want to fix the alternator! So I bought it, took it to Naples and swapped the alternator and enjoyed this car ever since! The car is in very good shape. I drove it twice to NC and back to Naples Florida in the last year. I would drive this car anywhere. Being the car guy I am, I repaired anything that was wrong to include the following:
new alternator new serpentine belt new tensioner pulley new battery (installed last week) new front brakes new front tires new power antennae oil change with filter replaced driver side window regulator/motor replaced drivers power windows switch removed thermostat new headlights with side markers (entire assembly)
Now the thermostat is a personal choice. After reading on google how these cars are prone to over heating, I simply removed the thermostat. Now I live in warm, sunny Florida, so I am all about keeping the car running cool. If you live up north, you may want to think about installing one back in, however that"s up to the next owner. I also had an issue with the power trunk pulldown. It worked when I bought it. I had a guy loading some parts into my trunk slam the trunk lid down and the auto trunk latch started acting retarded. I pulled the fuse and shut the trunk. i never circled back to replacing the latch. power latches on are fairly cheap. once again, I am just accurately describing everything I know about the car ( I wish more sellers did that). I also had the front bumper cover replaced and painted to match the car. The little old lady had scuffed up the nose on her car port a few times (bless her heart). Now lets talk condition. The exterior paint is in good condition. It has a cloth top. It too is in good condition. I would probably seal it after you get it home, so long term, water will bead up and run off rather than get absorbed and decay the top over time. The paint is in good shape and has plenty of shine. There are a few body depressions where it looked like she leaned against the car. With the proper tool that will easily be pulled out. There is a cool electromagnetic/heat tool that pulls dent and dings like magic. There a few dings as well. Just look at the pics and decide for your self. I am a very picky guy, so I am laying it all out there. I prefer to describe the car with all the flaws so I keep my 100% feedback. I will not hide anything just to make a couple of dollars. I do NOT need the money. I need more space! ha ha. Anyway, the trim is ok, I would probably just replace the chrome tape with the aftermarket chrome tape. The glass is all good. The interior is in great condition. That"s about it. The car is back in NC. Pls base your shipping quotes on a pick up in Fayetteville, NC 28305. I was there last week and started the car up and drove it about 20 miles. I put a new battery in it. Took it to my office for storage. I did notice the check engine light came on, but it later went out. Not sure what"s that about. Nonetheless, the car ran great. I would drive it anywhere. Oh yeah, last time I used the AC it blew ice cold. For the money, this car is a great deal. Where else you going to find a Cadillac with only 52K miles? I have done my best to accurately describe the car so you are happy with your purchase. I really want positive feedback. I have been on for over 20 years. I have 100% feedback. You do not get that by being a dick. Enough said. If you have questions, please call Lee at 910-476-4268. There is no buy it now, so pls do not ask. It is not fair to everyone else.
Now here is the legal stuff. I DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL or PAYPAL DEPOSITS. I do not believe in deposits. Either you want the car or you don"t. Please pay cash (certified funds ok too). As for bidders who think this is a game. I REPORT ALL NON PAYING BIDDERS. is NOT a game! It cost me money every time I have to resubmit an auction for non paying bidders. So if you do not have cash, have to ask your wife (Boyfriend - George McKivens) for permission or otherwise are a beta male, pls do NOT BID. Thank you. payment is expected within 3 days.
