Vehicle description
up for grabs is a 1999 acura integra, im not a dealer. this vehicle has been in my possession for some time now. i purchased this vehicle from a clown who THINKS he knows vehicles. i will be thorough as possible. in less than a year, it needed a head gasket and a timing belt replaced, the gears stick a little from 2nd to 3rd in the automatic transmission, and it smokes a little in the winter for less than a minute but hardly uses or loses any oil? i actually paid a well known and certified mechanic to tell me the transmission is totally sealed, thinking it just needed some fluid. that is NOT true, i still think it needs fluid or a flush because i found the fluid reservoir myself. i had the vehicle sitting for close to a year but i just put in close to a $1000 in parts and labor for inspection. it just got 2 front wheel bearings, rotor and brakes all around. a new exhaust from the cat. back and drivers side cv. joint (the whole arm) replaced. new tires on the front and fairly new on the back. 2 new shocks for the hatchback. a new battery and wiper blades. i do have the upgraded high output headlight system, but is currently not installed. also, i just purchased the upgraded tail light housing but are currently not installed. and finally i have the ac compressor but is currently not installed. from my understanding, it needs replaced. now on to the reconstructed title. after i had the final touch (the bearings) installed, another clown (Loren GERLACH) driving a full size SCHOOL BUS for the FIRST time managed to put a 2ft. sized dent on the back passenger fender/wheel well and knock out the the passenger tail light assembly. needless to mention thank god my kids are not using the ALTOONA AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT transportation system and the bus driver was charged for a HIT AND RUN! ! now, i just paid over $300 for an enhanced inspection and $50 for a new tail light housing. i did touch up the fender wells due to a little rust and somehow found the exact color for the paint, which will be included. my opinion, as the owner and driver, for being a year shy of wearing vintage plates this vehicle FLIES LIKE A BAT OUT OF HELL! ! only reason i am selling my blue demon is because i have children now and need something w/more cargo room. please ask any questions and dont forget to check out my other auctions. good luck.
