1998 Volvo S70 T5 VIN: YV1LS5345W1423141 cylinders: 5 cylinders drive: fwd fuel: gas odometer: 274000 paint color: black title status: clean transmission: manual type: sedan 274,000 miles This rare is Volvo as there is less than 400 of these T5 manuals in the US. The engine itself runs well, I still enjoy driving it, but the car does need repairs. It"s definitely a project car at this point in its life. 5 Speed manual 2.3L Turbocharged engine *PCV system replaced 4 years along with a new radiator *O Rings replaced on the bottom of the engine to solve a ticking problem 2 years ago. *New front brakes and calipers *Front, torque, grandsons mounts replaced *Front end suspension work done *Heater core new, including the lines and connecting block that goes into the firewall *A few other various replacements
This car does need some work, specifically the power steering. There is a large leak somewhere on the driver"s side that will completely drain the system over the course of a few weeks.
There is some oil burning. Pretty much by the time it needs an oil change, the oil is on the low end of the dipstick.
The front brakes and calipers are new, but the back calipers are what I bought the car with and do not function correctly. The car stops safely for me, but I want to be upfront about it so it doesn"t catch anyone off-guard.
Finally, the car will not pass Wisconsin emissions normally. I have gotten it to pass, though Thanks for your interest
