This has been the deal of the century for me. I bought it from a hippie girl in Topanga, ignoring the goofy bumpersticker and dents, and have proceeded to drive the heck out of it for two years. I drive it 83 miles to work. It has never once stalled or overheated or anything. It gets 115 degrees where I live and this car is fine. COLD AIR. Heated seats for winter! 3 of the 4 tires are new within a year, the other is 2 years old. I am parting ways with this old warhorse only because it is not going to smog in my super smog conscious state. The engine light comes on and so do the ABS light and the service light and tracs off whatever the heck that means.
Here"s what all needs fixing:
Tags expired in June 2019 Lights on as noted above Random misfire in #2 cylinder according to mechanic Shocks squeak like an old bed on a bumpy road Brakes also make a high pitched noise but they feel fine to use Dents as shown Drivers seat has tears as shown Radio probably shot. Needs reset anyway. Paint has some imperfections as you would expect for a car that is old enough to vote and probably CAN vote because they"d let a squirrel vote in my state. Speedometer only works sometimes. Odometer only moves when speedometer works. .so no clue what the mileage is! MILEAGE UNKNOWN. Someone hit my mirror and I fixed it with one from ebay but I didn"t feel confident about the attachment of said mirror so I gorilla taped it for good measure.
I am so not a mechanic so there could be other stuff. I just know it is 100 percent reliable and still fast af if you live in a state of idiot drivers like I do and you have to move fast to avoid them. Oh and if you"re a horse person, a 110 lb bale of alfalfa fits nicely in the backseat. I had it vacuumed today but maybe don"t buy it if you have allergies! It has hauled a lot of hay to my rescue horses.
