We are pleased to offer this 1998 Mercedes SL600 with ONLY 51K miles here on eBay. This SL600 was recently removed from long term indoor storage. The car is mechanically sound and starts, runs and drives just fine, but will need some deferred maintenance addressed, so we are selling this as a "project". The car presents very well and is overall very clean. Interior is very clean and presentable. The paint shows well with a couple blemishes shown in the photos. Overall, a really nice example that could just use some deferred maintenance taken care of. Known issues with the car that would need to be addresses:
- Hardtop is missing, so would need to source a new one (if you want one / soft top is in good shape) - Convertible top cylinders are leaking and would need to be serviced. - Small oil leak, likely from valve cover gasket. - Typical deferred maintenance from a car being in storage (fluids, tune up, etc) - Suspension light is illuminated on dash
These R129 V12s are only going up in value from here and we are hoping to find this one a new home with someone that can bring it back to it"s glory days.

If you should encounter a major problem, we are here to help you and won’t leave you in the lurch but will not be responsible for minor cosmetic or mechanical defects that come with being an as-traded used car. It is the buyer’s responsibility to perform a pre-sale inspection or express any and all concerns prior to placing a bid and prior to winning the final binding auction. DEPOSITS:
Deposits to hold vehicles is $500. Upon payment of the $500 deposit, the vehicle will be held for 72 hours pending final payment. Deposits are non-refundable due to i). the vehicles are taken off the market and we turn down other buyers during the 72 hour period and ii). there is significant re-marketing costs associated with relisting / remarketing our vehicles. Inspections should be performed prior to putting a deposit down on a vehicle.
INSPECTIONS:
We encourage inspections. We disclose known defects and imperfections but we are not you. Purchasing a vehicle is very subjective. Come visit our showroom in Dallas, TX, we would love to meet you in person! We require inspections to be done prior to putting down a deposit.
SHIPPING:
We recommend having our in house shipping team facilitate the transport of your new vehicle. We can handle all shipping arrangements in-house, so you know where your vehicle is from point ‘A’ to point ‘B’. All of our carriers are licensed, insured and bonded.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:
