| “Here is my 98 S420 (2 owner) which has had a pampered life as my wife's car from 27K miles. It is a standard base 420 with all that entails. No accidents or problems. Everything works as M/B intended when it left the factory. There have been many maintainance items as required. Recent Mobil 1 oil change. Newer tires on AMG rims, newer brakes and rotors. Paint is in excellent condition. Interior is in almost flawless condition as you would expect from only one person typically in auto. A/C will freeze you out of this car. Newer front end bushings and tie rods replaced. These cars are known to exceed 500K miles. Do not confuse this car with the S500 with all its associated problems with suspension and electronic problems. This car has all the same ride and prestige without the costs of the S500 model.
