“Not at all what you would expect after 20 years. Its unbelievably better. It looks and feels new, yet costs less than 1/3 of its original price. That's remarkable. Its not just a reasonably priced vehicle. Its a Lincoln Mark VIII. And it can truly be appreciated by someone who is able to get their second or third. I bought my first one new in 1998 and drove it for 16 years. After a year without it, I needed one again. You, too?” |

Vehicle description
Anyone wanting this car knows what it does and what it has. You don"t need the stats repeated. The one thing it does not have is working cd player. Since that technology is approaching extinction, I did not want to make a decision myself as to what a new owner would want. Everything else is there and it works. It still has its original Goodyear Eagles. I went to my local tire/brake shop. They said no safety issue at all. Tires look new too. Original air suspension is there and is a wonderful creation. Such a marvelous road car. Packages are available to convert these if you are concerned. First owner was senior guy, an auto shop owner in Brooklyn. He bought new and garaged. He called it his "going out car", but said he never went anywhere without his dog, who was not allowed in Lincoln. So, he put the first 4400 miles on it. After a cancer diagnosis, he decided that even though the car was nearly unused, it was getting "old". His new going out car became a yellow corvette. I bought Lincoln from him on ebay for $16k and had it shipped to Seattle in January 2015. I am senior gal, retired, and hate short hop city driving and crowded parking lots, oh, and rain, snow, etc. I have friends and relatives in Portland. So, I prefer to think of it as my "going away car". It is big but fits even a small woman well, and I feel very safe. I have managed to nearly equal the first owners miles. But, it sits now in my garage most of the time. My health continues to decline. Okay, after life with a couple of oldsters, this much loved car needs a forever home with someone who has the time and stamina to drive it the next 20 years. Thank you for visiting!
