About this vehicle This 1998 Land Rover Discovery is an original with updates to the drivetrain. The owner has had it for 5 years. The vehicle runs great and is used as a daily driver. Vehicle Details For sale is my 1998 Land Rover Discovery 1 LSE that has been converted to a 300tdi Land Rover diesel and manual transmission. The conversion was done in 2018 by me and has done approximately 13,000 miles since. Lots of new parts at time of the conversion(timing belt, front&rear main seals, head gasket, glow plugs,etc). The truck has a 2” lift with 1” wheel spacers. It has 5 matching 235/85R16 Yohama Geolandar tires in excellent condition. A rebuilt transmission from Ashcroft Transmissions in the UK was installed 11/2020(new clutch, rear main seal & pilot bushing). The truck is very dependable and fun to drive. 300tdi Diesel engines are known for reliability and simplicity, there are no electronics controlling this engine. The 300tdi engine easily sees 20-25mpg. I drive this truck regularly. Factory Land Rover rear door ladder, roof lights from a Jeep Liberty, Yakima roof cross bars, custom front bumper and rock sliders Working air conditioning with rear air. One rear jumpseat has been removed. The truck is very solid with minimal rust(Oklahoma vehicle, no salt). Exterior Interior Engine Deposits are refundable. Download the Motors app
