Hello My fellow ebayers. Up for sale is my beloved and very rare 1998 Jaguar XK8 coupe in fire mist Bronze metallic with 112,000 beautifully maintained miles that runs and drives magnificent and is a classic beast that will take on any road and give the new owner tons of enjoyment as she will turn the heads of all car lovers wherever she drives. BY the way the only reason I am selling her is that due to the current economic conditions my Landlord has sold my vehicle storage facility and he is converting the whole building into a 24 hour convenience store so without storage I am letting her go here with NO RESERVE!
To begin with this car drives amazing, and her engine has been meticulously maintained by the Jaguar dealership on Long Island for her entire life and at about 92,000 miles the car went through a complete transmission overhaul, which we have all the paper work for, and is now shifting and accelerating, cornering, and braking beyond OEM specializations.
Every facet of this marvelous car has been maintained, including the drive train, suspension and all electronics, heating and cooling, radio, wipers, lights power functions and all operate flawlessly. This car has been inspected and the car needs nothing at this time leaks nothing and is a BEAST on the road.
Cosmetically the shape oif this rare coupe is impressive and she shines beautifully with no rust anywhere on the car and its underside and the one imperfection is on the driver rear quarter panel where there is a slight push on the wheel well, that took place 9n my garage some years back and is hardly noticeable and no paint was chipped. The car seriously looks and drives like a speeding missile and she turns head with car connoisseurs wherever she goes and people sometimes even question if the car is a 2018, as she looks pristine.
The interior and door panels look and smell brand new, and its as simple as that. The front seats have really no or little wear and the backseats look like they are brand new and never been sit on.
Mechanically there are no check engine lights on and no leaks of any kind and the engine purrs at idle and roars upon acceleration. the only flaw mechanically is that the air intake was slightly cracked after we replaced the spark plugs and was taped by the technician, and sometimes the the check engine light will go on briefly but then will go out indicating a small air leak at that point, and this never affects performance.
As far as the chrome wheels go, they can go with the car as the have next to new tires for an additional $1200.00 and make the car that much more awesome, or you can opt to have the regular stock rims that came with the car that are pictures in the picture gallery and they will also have tires but will have only 10% approximate tread left on all 4 tires.
