Vehicle description
Up for bid is my 1998 Hummer H1 SoftTop
I have owed it for several years and put a TON of money and work into. To make it 100% awesome. I have driven it on road trips to Iowa and Dc and back towing my 38ft travel trailer. And many others. Including daily driving it for quite some time. I"m sure I"ll forget things but here we go: Items of interest:
Rubber duck Stage 3 ECM Rubber duck bigger injectors Rubber duck exhaust - very nice Short stack cold air intake AC recharged this year and new serp belt New GM starter and cables replaced as well Relocated PMD with spare New glow plugs Bigger Turbo $2000 Rubber Duck Super 77 Upgraded Turbo Cylinder head cooling mod (Very nice) Equalizer Head Cooling 900.00 Truck = 6.5 Turbo-Diesel EGT gauge Snow performance water meth kit (not installed yet) Newer soft top, no leaks. I added snaps to the rear window to stop the velcro from opening on the highway Pioneer indash dvd player Cruise control works perfect as does 4wd etc 40" tires, NO RUB CTIS works perfect, the rear tires leak a few psi over a few days. I replaced the seals, and it stopped for a year and started again. Changed all fluids this season, diffs, tcase, trans, radiator, oil, hubs. New injection pump Warn Winch New thermostats last year and hoses New PS Pump and hoses this year Heated from windshield (works) Full skid plated body colored. Predator high flow fuel lift pump New Left Rear brake caliper and half shaft Steering gear box support bracing (To stop frame flex with big tires) welded in and painted New VALVE, CDR (H1)
I have never off-roaded this truck, always onroad. Judging by the underside, it has never seen off-road.
