Vehicle description
1998 AMG Hummer H1 6.5 Turbo Diesel. New engine, transfercase, and complete new a/c system. This is my everyday ride, runs and drives perfectly, ice cold ac
122,000 miles, less than 15,000 on new engine. For those who don"t know like I didn"t, the stock 6.5l on all early H1 were prone to the #8 cylinder cracking and losing oil pressure, which is what happened to mine shortly after I bought it. I had new engine installed which eliminates that problem, and had the air conditioning system completely changed at same time. No expenses spared and have all the receipts.
Many upgrades. Heated front seats, touchscreen navigation/cd, front brush guard, powder coated roof rack, sound system, DVD player, 3 TV"s, PlayStation 1,off road lights, newly tinted windows, remote start, viper alarm, much more. CTIS system works perfectly
I read a few other H1 ads today and half of them hint at the motor is going bad, or they are "not sure if they have a faulty engine". I can assure you that all the early model H1 with the stock 6.5 liter motor are flawed and will absolutely go bad sooner or later and chances are they are already going bad. Again I had a new motor installed which completely eliminates the problem I can pick you up at the Memphis airport and you can drive it home. If you rather pay for the fuel and I"ll drive it to you. This Hummer was maintained crazy well and garaged.
On Sep-22-18 at 08:57:31 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot the vehicle history report says it was in an accident. It was not I was pulling a Uhual car carrier and that was hit in the Home Depot parking lot. Popped tire on trailer when a drunk lady ran the stop sign . Cops came because her condition and Uhual had to change trailer tire. The Hummer was not involved.
