About this vehicle This 1998 Freightliner FL80 is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great. Seller"s Notes Up to 400 miles I will drive it to you at no cost. Vehicle Details Up for sale is a 1998 freightliner FL80 4 car roll back. 26' bed Clean title in hands. The title discrepancy is due to the state of TN seller writing on the mileage box "exempt". When I registered it in MA, the dmv told me that it would create a TMU title (true miles unknown). . from day 1, I have written the mileage for taxes filing and the mileage is correct. The way it sits, it's ready to go to work. It comes with chains, ratchet, small car jack, tool box. It has a great running 8.3L Cummins and a 9 speed manual transmission. Extremely well maintained. Clean interior, power window works, no a/c. . The tachometer sometimes works, sometimes it doesn't. . I believe it's just a bad connection, it never bothered me. Here is what has less than 20,000 miles: - rear brake chambers - brakes all around - wheel seals - all fluids - all hydraulic cylinders and hoses. Less than 10,000 miles: - alternator - batteries - serpentine belt Less than 1,000 miles - all 6 tires virgin rubber - tie rod ends and alignment - main hydraulic cylinder - oil and filters I got well over $18,000.00 in receipts within a year time, spent on maintaining this truck. The levers and rods are worn out, but work perfectly okay, I usually pull or push on the rods to move the hydraulics faster. It has 1,019,000 miles. . I believe the engine has been rebuild at some point in time, because it runs extremely well. I just don't have records of it. These trucks are going well above 38,000.00 in this condition. I am asking 36,000.00 or best offer, no lowball offer please, I know what I have.
