Vehicle description
This was a Government Ramp van special-built by IMS to transport persons in wheelchairs. THE WHEELCHAIR RAMP IS GONE but it has a lowered chassis that is convenient for loading and unloading cargo. The engine and transmission perform well, the AC works well, it has power locks but manual windows.
It has some peeling paint on the top and hood, and general paint issues, some rust spots. The interior is not glamorous, there is a tear in the driver"s seat, it looks like a work van. It comes with a full size spare tire. It"s had some recent work done, two engine mounts and inner tie rods replaced, new battery. However it has some rust under the passenger side (see photos) and will need some body work to pass safety inspection.
This would make a good work van for someone who can do the body work themselves. Kelly Blue Book quotes $1000-$1200. I am open to trades or will sell for parts if necessary. Located in Great Falls Virginia near Loudoun county, come see it and make an offer.
